    Hello from Tampa, FL!

Hey everyone, I'm from Tampa and I just recently got into cycling. I hope to ride for pleasure at first but eventually I would like to start competing. Anyone else from this area? My ears are always open for advice from some experienced veterans

Thanks for the welcome! I just bought a new Trek 1.2 in white. I've been riding mountain bikes for most of my life, but I wanted to get into road cycling, and possibly compete in a few years. I don't really know much about the sport, but I'm hoping to meet a bunch of new people to lead me in the right direction.

    Welcome!

I live and ride/race in Tampa too. USF has a great cycling team that would be a great starting place for you to learn if you want to compete. Go to http://www.usfcycling.com/ and contact Brandon.
