Yeah, hello for lovely NE Ohio

Hi. I'm J.D. and I have a problem with bikes...

Currently spending weekdays in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and weekends SE of Columbus OH in a little burg known as Carroll with the wife and kids. Been riding... in my adult life since '99. Started out with C'Dales and Treks (2300, 2100) and my fleet mutates regularly. Currently I have my GT LTS Team ish to my eldest boy while he's at Camp Pendelton. Have a nice Takara that is a tour-ey type setup, a Schwinn Traveler (about 91 or 92 vintage) that was sandblasted and repainted and that's the road runner (my "stealth" bike). Recently purchased a Huffy Concours frame from Sonatageek and I think I'll build that up as a randonneuring and trail bike. Then there's the old Specialized HardRock (full rigid, CroMo) that may get built up as a single speed, may be sold. And then there's the rest of the family's bikes.

Thought about saving up and buying a newish ride but honestly I get a kick out of rehabbing an old bike. And I think I'm going to start trying my hand at wheelbuilding.

Well, I think that's enough. I do tend to get a bit long-winded at times.
