Newbie from SF Bay Area
Hello, I'm new to this forum. I've been riding off/on for the last 5-10 years but I'm looking to get more serious and maybe start competing. But before I can do this, I have a lot of training to do. I was thinking of also trying out some riding clubs and group rides in the San Jose/Fremont area.
BTW, I ride a Trek 5200 road bike.

Don't know much about the east bay, but Bicycle Outfitters has a great weekend get-together! They're in Los Altos.
Welcome! And don't forget to post pics!

Welcome!
As far as recreational clubs go, you can check out Fremont Freewheelers , and Almaden Cycle Touring Club (ACTC) , for South Bay. Lotsa great rides all days of the week.
For a racing emphasis, you can look at San Jose Bike Club or Alto Velo .
