In KC but headed southwest

HI! I'm living and teaching in Kansas City. But, I'm headed southwest as soon as possible. Just too old for the winters anymore.

I'm 50, I ride seasonally, I would love to commute, but my schedule prohibits it.

I have a 2005 Trek 1000c, which I am not fond of. A new one is in my plans.

See you on the forums, and the roads.

Hi Sean, what part of the southwest? Are you going to retire, or find another job?

Welcome to BF!

hello

HI:

Right now I'm looking at Las Cruces, New Mexico, which I love, and Palm Desert CA, which I know very little about. Both have jobs in my field and either would be a fine place to settle I think.

Palm Desert is mighty hot! I think I'd go with Las Cruces...although Las Cruces is considerably larger than Palm Desert.

Good luck with whichever one you decide to go with!
