hello everybody!
Hi there all, my name is Chuma from Port Elizabeth - South Africa. Basically I just love cycling, and I ve been cycling casually for years. Last year I joined spining classes, 6 to 5 days a week, and at the moment I am playing with the idea of going professional. So thats me! not much hey. Btw I am 26yr old guy.

Howzit china? Been a while since I was even near Port Elizabeth, and then it was mostly up at
Umkomas to go diving.
Welcome to Bike Forums, it's always nice to see someone from RSA sign in, we really don't
get all that many south african members (I'm recruiting now).
so, my standard question, can ya send me some biltong? that'd be lekker as I can't get any
here.

Thank u East Hill, I fell so welcomed. Well for now I am still hanging on to my old raleigh mountain bike, dont know if u get this lot up there. I am busy shopping around for a new bike, if only it wasnt so confusing. But at moment, to tell you the truth, I ve been focusing more on the disciplines of sport and just equiping myself with as much knowledge as possible.

howzit lotek my broer, lekker seeing u too! I really didnt expect to see a South African here so soon. Ofcourse I can organize you some Billtong mate. But you must come down here sometime, theres alot your missing out on!

I have been trying to get back for twice that.
on to bikes, what kind of bike are you thinking of, and what kind of racing? Road? MtB?
I think if you're going to get serious about road you probably want shops in Durbs, or Jo'berg, or Cape Town. I'm not familiar with the Mountain bike scene there, although I know its very active
(ah to ride in the Drakesnberg! lekker).
Unfortunately when I was there I spent most of my free time either around Aliwal or Sodwanna bay
diving (or Moz before it got popular).
I'll take you up on the 'tong and droewors if I'm ever back down there, we'll have a
lekker brai and more than one castle (I'd kill for a 6 pack).
