Greetings all from NorCal
Hello from the beautiful SF Bay Area. This site looks like it could really help with my latest bike-I'm going to try touring. I look forward to the expertise around here

Welcome to Bike Forums, Evans!
When you get a chance, go check out the NorCal section here. We have a ride (if you want to call it that) coming up April 12th. Come join us!
What part of NorCal are you from? Somewhere in Contra Costa?

Thanks for the welcome. I'm in the East Bay-Concord to be exact. I'll have to look at the NorCal section when I get the chance.
I'm riding a Specialized S-Works Roubaix, a Santa Cruz Blur, and I have a Co-motion Nor'wester frame on the way, which will be my fourth bike I've built up. Nice to be able to pick and choose parts to put on the bike.

We are having a ride on April 12th!! It's a "silly" ride where it will be a slow pace. Everyone is going to be riding a bike they usually don't ride. You are more than welcome to join us!

Hi MsI,
\I,m going to start in Canada and end up in Mexico. That will happen in 2 years. Of course, I'll do a number of shorter trips before that.
I'll try to make the ride!
Thanks for the welcome
