Greetings from Minnesota
I found your forums while searching for bike related information and thought it was great. I have biked all my life (who hasn't) but have recently been trying to become more serious about it.
My experience mostly pertains to mountain bikes, but I am trying to get into the road scene. I just acquired a 1979 Raleigh Grand Prix and use it to commute to work, and hope to eventually do some longer rides.
I also just found a 1983 Trek roadbike for free and am trying to fix it up for my fiance to ride.
I have really enjoyed making this my new hobby and hopefully can learn a lot on the forum and eventually build up to building my own bike. See you on the forums!

Oh boy, another person I can encourage to visit us in Classic & Vintage . Come on over, and bring photos! We'll help you get both those machines back on the road, and as nice as brand new.
