Hello all of you fellow bike commuters.Just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Mentor, Ohio and ride to work and back home everyday!! Two years ago I bought a trail bike and heavily modified it to the beautiful street commuter that it is today. I have learned a lot on the streets and love every minute of my ride.I have lost weight and saved a lot of money on gasoline. I even designed my own inexpensive bike carrying system for use on my sedan when I want to go out to rail trails around here. Would love to hear from all of you. I am sure we all have many ideas and experiences to share. Thanks to Admin for that great welcome! Don.

Thanks East Hill. It is great to have found this forum. I have already learned a lot from the various threads and have even contributed to some. At first I purchased my bike and converted it to a commuter simply to lose some weight by riding to work and back. But it has grown to an almost all consuming hobby and I ride much more than just on the week days. Are you a bike lifer also? Glad to be here! Don.
