Glad to have signed up

Been directed to this site for years by google search results. Finally signed up. Am training for the 2008 SF --. LA AIDS LifeCycle ride. Am learning a lot about bikes and bicycling. Have been riding some form of bicycle since since I was about 4, but have found a new level of interest lately.

Greetings to the community.
May the tailwinds be in your favor!

Hello Revolving! What made you go for it today? What kind of bike are you riding, and don't forget to take a look at the regional forums.

Welcome to BF!

I bought a Surly LHT in January to use for the AIDS LifeCycle and beyond. Just rode it last night around some local fire trails in the mountains in Marin. The 36h 700c touring rims and continental contact tires made for a pretty stable ride on some pretty loose trail.

Today I'm riding my Marin Novato, with a couple Jandd grocery bag panniers for an after work food shopping trip.

The reason I joined today is I'm going to be doing a lot of research on handlebar options and want to be able to post questions.

Thanks for the welcome.
