Bikes: For the past 25 years, a Miyata Terra Cruiser -- and I rode it all over the country. For the past few weeks, I own a Cannondale Bad Boy Ultra, and I'm loving it.

Hey y'all
Name is Paul. My Forum name is the name of the bike I recently bought, and I'm not trying to take on a 'tude. I've been riding bikes my whole life, commuted 100 miles weekly during my 20s, and lots more since then. Been stuck on a heavy mountain bike for many years -- rode it by choice -- but recently upgraded to a Cannondale Bad Boy Ultra. Wow.
I live in Golden, probably the beer capital of the world. I'm now retired from the newspaper industry (please don't ask!) and am free to camp, fish and bike to my heart's delight. Looking forward to learning some things on this forum.

<snicker> Oh my - how "happenstance" I stumble across this ....
I'm a gurl, and a commuter as well as a mtb kinda person as well as a roadie (note to self - take roadie off trainer and get some long miles this weekend since I have some rides I have to lead ...)
Sounds like you have some awesome time to spare reestablishing your relationship with your bikes again!
Welcome!
BTW there's several forums here that can accomodate most of your questions --- or funky questions too.
