Greetings from Indiana

Hello. I have been lurking around here for several months, and I thought it was time that I get busy and start posting. I'm a male, 32, from Bloomington, Indiana. A few months ago I started a "bicycle-based services provider" business, and things have been gradually picking up. I think that when people see examples of what type of work can be done on a bike, it can be an eye-opener for them. So anyway, I think this is a great community with lots of great people sharing their knowledge. Now I'm off to the "Utility" thread to post some pics of my home-made trailers. Thanks!

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Welcome from a fellow Hoosier, bloompedal.

By the way, I'm up in Archenemy territory, Boiler Country.

Hey Tom, thanks...I don't go in for much of the rivalry anymore, kind of lost its fire after Knight and Keady left. Question: Is the "tour de cure" around the oval, or does it get into the F1 course? Either way, it sounds like a great time...

Yeah, I've been a little timid...My workhorse is an '07 C-Dale "Road Warrior" 500...I've put about 2K on it in the last 9 months, and it's been a great ride so far!

It's the oval, as well as 2 road courses available. The Century ride is on the track, and there is a 50k and 75K road course available as well.

All of the events are a blast, though! I'm supposed to do the Century o the track, but that may be in doubt since I crashed pretty hard Saturday and am on a cane and in a sling at the moment. I'm sure going to try to get back on the bike for it though......

Lol, well, this is my fault...when I made the account, I actually had the Miyata, but because it didn't fit me quite right I donated it to the local Bike Project...so, uh, I should probably change my sig. It was a cool bike though, it had bullhorn bars. It was also nice to see the person who found it at the project cycling around much more comfortably than me...

Bummer you don't still have it...but it's great that you passed it on to someone who could enjoy it!
