Converting a bmx to a fixed gear

I want to extend the fork so that I can put straight handlebars on there but this is my first bmx conversion and I really don't know if I can use the same fork that came with the bike or if I need to find a different fork. Anybody that has converted a bmx and has come into the same problem please help me out, I am totally confused.

Welcome to the forums. I suggest you take a look in the Alt. Bike forum here. You can probably get a good answer in ther.

Yes, I don't know how many of the SS/FG folks would have converted a BMX bike to a FG, but I just know that someone in the AltBikes will have done that very thing .

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
