hello from sunny california!

okay.. not so sunny in fresno, ca. its been gloomy and rainy the past couple of days.. a nice break from triple digit weather. im not sure what kind of bike i have. it was primered when i got it. i restored it and converted it from a freewheel to a fixed gear bike. ive been riding since january and fell in love with it. ive been meaning to join this forum for some time but never got to doing so. hopefully i'll get a lot of questions answered here. i have a couple of projects going all at once. restoring a ladies' frame sturdee bike, sovereign road bike, and a khs gransport touring bike i believe. the first two are for friends and the third im keeping as a spare frame and fork until i finish the current bike i am riding. just a lot of paint work to be done and detailing. hopefully i'll be able to post some pictures of my bike up in hopes to find out what kind of bike it is. im kind of taking up bike building as a little hobby.. not that i don't have enough hobbies to fund. i have invested in some bike tools in hopes to find more bikes to build. ive gone through some trial-and-error but im not there yet. hopefully, by joining this forum, i'll be gaining more knowledge about bikes and some different components and what works best. thanks for reading, hope to hear some advice from you guys and words of inspiration.

thanks, pat

Hi Pat--you are definitely a candidate for the Classic & Vintage forum. We'd love to see photos of what you've done, what you are working on, and any other tidbits you want to share.

I've been to Fresno, and I have to say that I would be happy to have some relief from triple digit heat at this time of year! But then again, that's why Fresno used to be Raisin Capital of the World .

Welcome back to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

East Hill
