'lo bob, you have pie?
Anyway, hi everyone, I'm Autumn from Spokane, WA. I'm in grad school to become a social worker and I'm over half-way done with my degree. After I graduate, I'm planning to move to either the Portland, OR or Phoenix, AZ metro areas. We'll see where life takes me.
I currently ride a Specialized Hardrock and I use it for everything: exercise, trips to the store, trips to get pie, transportation.. you name it. I know it's kind of an odd bike to use for those things, but I used to live in an area with no public transportation and found myself carrying heavy loads on my bike. Plus, it's good for the snow. I likely won't have to worry about snow and ice where I'm thinking about moving, so maybe a new, lighter bike is in my future.
Besides that, I'm your typical geek girl, I like hanging out in the library, I know a little about a lot of stuff, and I'm way too silly for my own good. Or maybe I'm just too silly for everyone else's good.. we'll see I guess.
I'm rambling. Anyway, I look forward to talking to y'all!

Hello Autumn, what part of Spokane are you in? There's a few members over your way...don't forget to check out the regional forums, and say hi to the rest of us PNWers (I live in Kent, WA).

Well, actually I'm in Cheney, which is outside Spokane and home to my university. I'm definitely looking at the Regional Forums. I'm trying to get an idea of what living car-free in Phoenix is like... cycling for a few miles in 120 degree heat, eek! I'll definitely look for some Spokane people to hang out with too, I'd like to make some new friends!
