returning cyclist

Hello everyone! I have posted my returning details in the over 50 forum. I am happy to find this forum, as I am just getting started on my way back to fitness after a long layoff for no good reason. I ride a Schwinn criss cross I modified years ago to take some off road abuse and climb trails in New York. Currently it is in a non-aggressive road tread configuration acting as my "fitness bike"...I also have a Cilo 12 speed with shimano 105 (remember that?) and sealed bearing hubs...tange #1 double butted tubing throughout (remember that?). My goal is to be back on that in my samson clipless pedals (the very first version..remember those?) by summers end. Wish me luck!

God bless!

Welcome to the forums and welcome back to cycling. You should also stop by the Classic and Vintage fourm. Those guys will definitely remember your Cilo with the 105.

Hello ronbo, hey, that Shimano 105 is some nice stuff! I have it on a few of my vintage bikes, and it's quite responsive.

Do you have photos of the Cilo?
Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

Worth the wait Ron!

Thanks for the photos--the Cilo looks like a very nice bike.
