Hi Johnny, there is a great deal of affection in the Classic & Vintage forum for those 3-speeds .

The cars and all cost a lot of money, but cycling is cheaper and better for you .

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Long lost twin

Looks like my Bridget has found her long lost twin! I scored her late last year from a fellow who was "into" old 3-speeds. He had his sights set on a winter project, but she was just in too good of shape. I have done nothing but wax her since. She's a great bike to take to the park, where I ride with my 7 y.o. daughter. It's more her speed.

Nice ride....Too bad the bikes didnt get frame #rs stamped on them or we could find out just how close they are to each other There is always an older twin

I picked up mine at a garage sale...i asked if he would take $5 he said yes...estaticly mind ya...I looked in my pocket I only had $2...I appoligized that I would have to goto the car for a minute....I started to walk back to the car to get a 5 from my wife and he stopped me and said $2 is fine

2 tubes and 2 new tires...and its good to go.

The decals are shot...anybody have a source of reproduction ones?

He must have thought you were about to scamper off . Try eBay for repro decals...

here are some updated pics of my new DD for the next few months.

I picked up a new dyno-light/taillight and built a rear rack from scraps.
