Hi from Minnesota!

Hello all,

I have lurked here for awhile an decided to take the plunge and register.

I just recently traded in my mountain bike and bought a more road friendly bike, a Cannondale Bad Boy Ultra. My life has progressed into towing kids in Burleys and this bike fits my needs. Now if I can get my wife to ride with me!

This is a great site, thanks for letting me on!

Sean

Thanks for the response!

My wife has not ridden in 20+ years but wants to get in shape. She always knows how much I love it and wants to give it a whirl. She does not have a bike and I am unsure whether I should hunt for a cheap used one or go to a lbs and get one. I don't want to spend a ton of money is she truly does not enjoy it.

I have spent most of my time in the family section. We are a young family and I want to show my kids how wonderful biking can be.

Tough decision for you! If your wife really enjoys cycling, then you will have to upgrade fairly soon. Where are you located in MN, and what size bike does your wife ride?

I went down to the local bike path today and encountered many families out riding. It's always nice to see that!
