Hi from Chicago...

Hi All,

Total noob, just taking a look around.
Hoping to learn a bit about road biking for fun and fitness.
Former distance runner looking for something a bit easier on the body.
Curious if anyone has had experience doing so.

Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

Hello MPM, a LOT of runners/former runners here because they discovered that cycling is much easier on the body than the running.

There's probably a couple of threads on the subject in almost any forum, but do take a look at the 50+ forum in particular.

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
