ah my first REALLY comfortable bike

Hello Hello. Randy from Montana here.

Just salvaged an old green '69 huffy sportsman off the side of the road and its gotten me really interested in cycling again. This is the first bike i have ever owned that did not require leaning forward, thus supporting much of my weight on the handlebars. can't believe i didnt get one sooner. no it's not a girls bike, its a stepthrough frame!!! ok, its a girls bike.

also couldnt resist the twist grip 3 speed setup. ill deal with the 333 hub exploding when it explodes. probably replace it with a SA.

spent a few hours with steel wool cleaning up the chrome, bought a comfy seat with 2" of padding + springs, new tires, tubes, cables, and a rear rack with side baskets so i can carry groceries, and i am back into cycling!! won't win any races, but it's a very comfy ride.

other bikes owned at the moment:

90ish Karakorem GT all terra that still hasn't broken yet despite being ridden through hell and back. twice. only thing i've done to it besides maintain it is upgrade from LX to XT shifters.

raleigh super grand prix (another great freebee find) with tubes that hold air long enough to go for a ride.

and two kids bikes with skis bolted and welded to the frame and front hub. 2 in the back, 1 in the front to steer with. We get a lot of snow here in montana.

hey east hill, thanks for the welcome!

as to the super grand prix, it's a 78 in virtually stock condition right down to the toe clips, although i think the seat was replaced at some point with a much smaller, much more uncomfortable one lol. it is this bike right here:

Nice catch on the Raleigh. By the way, the catalogue you found is on a website owned by one of our members here--cudak888.
