Hello ShoC, I suspect it might be a bit big for you, but the only way to tell is to head to the local bike shop and check out a few bikes for sizing.

Other than that, it's a bike which seems to have not very upscale components, and you may find yourself upgrading later down the road.

It's probably good enough to get you started, on the other hand.

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Hi and thanks for the reply.

What do you mean by upscale?
Keeping in mind I know NOTHING about bicycles
another one I was looking at is
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Barracuda-Ci...8440730&sr=8-1

These are purely for getting to work, So what would be the best out of these?
I will pop into a local shop tonight to check some bikes out just trying to get an idea of the main things to look out for

The first thing to be upgraded (upscaled) are the low quality components (brakes, shifters, etc.) found on many inexpensive bikes. Which translates to you spending more money to make the bike better. If you buy a decent bike from a bike shop to start with, you won't need to do this right away, if at all.
Amazon started as an online bookseller. Didn't know they had branched out to bikes.

You'll get a better bike for the money at a bike shop.
BTW: the Amazon bike(s) do not come assembled. They come in a box like the one shown below and must be assembled. Do you have the tools (5, 6, 8 mm hex key, cable cutters, truing stand, pedal wrench, 8, 9, 10 mm socket, etc.) to assemble a bike? If not, you'll have to pay to have it assembled. I know. I work at a bike shop. We charge $45 (~£23).

My advise: Buy from a bike shop. You won't be sorry and you'll get a bike that fits you.
