Ahoy from Valparaiso, Indiana!

Hey guys,

well I my name is Mark. I'm 16 years old and I wasn't to into cycling. Until my sister-in-law gave me her grandparents Murray Sands 3 speed bike. Now I'm into referbishing/collecting old school bikes. So far is have 2 bikes, the murray and a Schwinn road bike that looks like it's from the 60s or 70s. My interests include Skatboarding(Almost* deck if you were wondering), recreational/transportation cycling, listening to music and making my own, I play the mandolin, bass guitar, electric guitar and acustic guitar, I also soon hope to be able to use my brothers body shop to referb. older bicycles. That's pretty much it, I'm easy going and open minded.

Hey there Mark,

Welcome to Bike Forums. Lots of us got started/restarted with an older bicycle. If you want any suggestions/tips for refurbishing, take a peek in the Bicycle Mechanics or Classic & Vintage forum.

Take care,

Z
