Saying Hello , from Montreal, Québec!
Hello boys and girls!! Just wanted to introduce myself here . I've been an occasional reader on your forums for a little while and finally decided to join . ( everytime i was looking for info on the web , i was finding it on here...!)
I'm 25 , and an ''almost'' ex-mountain biker , into XC and dirt jumps. Ex , because of the numerous injuries i got while mountain biking , the last being a right elbow surgery that left me with 2 metal pins in october 2007. I now switched out the XC tires i had on my MB for Street michelins...it's safer and faster now!!
I ride A 2001 Rocky Mountain Elevation , that i bought at a ridiculous 60$ last summer, just because the ex owner didn't want to repair the 2 flats and the blown fork! I ride a lot in the city , mostly short rides , but i ride quite often . I live in a part of Montreal where we have at least 3 bike paths and a few nice parks to choose from , so i'm quite lucky for that!
For a while now , my brother has been playing around with chopper and cruiser bikes , and i kinda caught the itch to have one myself... After helping a friend move into her new appartment , i found out that the previous owners left a bikes in the garage ...I asked my friend if i could have it , and ...here it is!
Since i'm no expert , I have no idea what brand/model it is...i would really like to know if anyone knows. I'm sure with all the bike freaks we have in here , it shouldn't be too long!! It was originally green , then painted blue...but all that has been sandblasted since i got it!
Thanks , Frank

Hello Frank, your cruiser looks to be in relatively good shape. Post some photos in the Classic & Vintage forum, and someone there might be able to help you with the ID. Are there any markings on the bike, such as a serial number?

Thanks for the welcome East hill!
I found a serial number near the rear left dropout , R71366685. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
