Bikes: I do actually own a Triton - one of my problems though is that I am quite shy, and the bike always turns heads when I'm out and about on it!

Calling all UK members
This is just to say Hi!
I am in the UK, based in ELY Cambridgeshire. As I have said in my BikeForums profile, I actually work for WorthyDeal Ltd. who have just started marketing the Triton Ultimate Three Wheel Cruiser in the UK.
My job is to run the website we have set up for anybody currently owning a Triton in the UK, or who is thinking of getting one, or who is just interested in this recumbent bicycle or adult tricycle (I'm still working on the best way to describe this bike - heck, I'm not even sure if I should even be calling it a bicycle! - maybe big wheel tricycle would be better, or pedal go kart?).
As this bike is better known at the moment in the USA than it is in the UK (having come to us from California), hopefully our American friends in this Forum might be able to enlighten me!
Anyways, I have joined this Forum so that I can read posts and get to understand the cycling fraternity better, and maybe I might even be able to answer a question or two. Obviously, there some sections of this Forum that are of more interest to me e.g. the recumbents section, than others and that's where I intend to mainly hang out. I actually have some questions of my own that I would like to ask people who currently own and use recumbent bikes, so I'm hoping I will get a good response on those and find useful information I can feed back into the 3wheelcruiser.org.uk site.
I am hoping to learn a great deal from this Forum, and hope everybody finds my approach here ethical in declaring who I work for and so on. The site we have set up at 3wheelcruiser.org.uk by the way is a membership site, which anybody can join and participate in (at no charge) and create their own blog-style posts there. Of course, it will work better for you if you are actually based in the UK! If you are, you might be interested in stopping by and taking a look at our 'Suggestion Box', where you can vote on what you would like to see next on site. So if you would like to stop by, you will be most welcome! Of course, we'll be including a link from there to this site, just as soon as I can organise that. We're using WordPress for this site, and that is all a little new to me, but I think I'm getting the hang of it ...
Thanks for reading this, and who knows, we may be talking together soon!

I would bet that the AltBike forum folks have already come up with a homegrown version, and have their own name for such a vehicle.
