I just found this forum while I was looking around for answers to bike repair and maint. questions and am grateful all this useful and helpful info is available to us. I have been riding bikes of one form or another for 60 years and finally am starting to get good at it. Its always fun but the more you know about it the better it gets. Last year I managed to crank on 900 miles and this year am so far up to 930 and am loving it. I now have gotten better bikes than I ever had before and also have started to see that a little snack every 10 miles and drinking more water really keeps my engine fueled up. I guess I'm a slow learner but better late than never. I live in MN and so don't get to ride in the winter unless I head far south. The bikes just keep getting better and better and once I got my 2006 Raleigh Passage 4.0 set up the way I wanted it, I was amazed that there are days I think I could ride it all day and still be able to walk afterwards. I feel riding is like putting money in my "Health Bank". Best of Luck and happy trails to all my fellow bikers!!
Keep the rubber side down!!
