I after reading post on the clydesdale forum I must be a super clydesdale started this sumer at 330 and strugled to ride 1 mile if it was an uphill slope. I started riding so I could ride in a mission fund raiser to raise money for drilling water wells and funding an orphanage ministry in Madagasca. I really enjoy riding and have reading everything I can find to Impove my riding skills. I'm up 30-40 mile rides on weekends and 10 mile ride during the week (wish I had more time to ride) I have lost 20 pounds and feel better already. I ride a Diamondback Wildwood. Well next week is the big ride. I hope I'm ready next sumers goal is to ride a century.

Welcome to the fold. Save money because I have a feeling that you may want to spend more on this ridiculously expensive developing hobby of yours - I know I would

Hello rwp400, good luck with the big ride, and I think you should be able to accomplish the century next year if you put your mind to it! Although, you may need to think about getting a road bike for a century, as the Wildwood is probably not the fastest thing on two wheels!
