Hello from the Tour De Fat Capital!
Hey everyone! I'm just getting into the world of biking and am in 
with classic frames. My first bike, an old (pretty beat up) Motobecane Sport, was given to me to introduce me to biking. I am just waiting to give to the next person in need here in Fort Collins. I currently ride a 1981 Trek 613 that is in phenomenal condition. Being introduced to biking here in Colorado has been amazing, with such a strong and supportive community that is willing to help the non-educated (like myself) become wise in the ways of wheels! I look forward to meeting a more diverse conglomerate of bike enthusiasts here!
Also, since I'm here already, I was hoping someone would be able to take a look at my find on ebay, that I am thoroughly interested in. I know a little bit about Marinoni, but would like to have someone's opinion on this. I would be picking it up, should I decide to go for it, so I am not worried about inexperienced shipping or packaging. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Former Tour De Fat resident.
Interesting bike, I've not sure I've ever heard of that brand? Been Biking since the 70's but it doesn't ring a bell. One note, this does have tubular rims, so unless your willing to run sew-ups, you'll need to pop new rims on those Campy hubs
BTW, I just moved to NW Iowa from Fort Collins a few months ago. I lived there 25 years and it's a great bike town. I cycle commuted year-round for many years there. Getting used to the lack of cycling here in Iowa, I can ride every street in town plus the trail system in about 30 minutes! Unfortunately, the county roads have 0 paved shoulders
So, enjoy "Fort Fun", my sone just did Tour De Fat, 9000 people I hear.

BTW, I just moved to NW Iowa from Fort Collins a few months ago. I lived there 25 years and it's a great bike town. I cycle commuted year-round for many years there. Gene, I'm glad that you were able to enjoy Colorado for the time that you did. I've lived (and loved) Colorado since the moment I was born, and plan on keeping it that way! Commuting around Fort Collins has to be one of the simplest modes of transportation in this town and, while I can't say Risk is in the near future, I do plan on enjoying bicycles for a long time to come!
Tour De Fat was fairly intense this year, needless to say. At least an hour after the parade had started, there were still people waiting in line to leave from New Belgium! Crazy good costumes, crazy good friends, crazy good bicycles, and crazy good beer. What more is a 25 year old to ask for!?
