virgin driver asks question
Interested in getting either a moped or scooter. Any advice or reports on either would be much appreciated

Hi ava, nice to have another Canadian aboard. You do realize that this is a bicycling forum.
My advice would be to forget the moped or scooter and get yourself a bicycle. Maybe a electric bike will work for you.
Happy cycling!

ebike
Oops thought this was ebiking. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for responding. Any ideas on ebikes? I have talked to my bicycle shop and he won't have ebikes in his business as he has heard that it takes forever to get parts - 3-6 months. I am on the short side of things, being 5'4, but have managed to find an ebike to accommodate that. Do you know of anyone that owns one? If so what make and year is it, how is the repair time (if any) and where did they buy it. Have a day. Ava

Thanks for your reply even though it was my bad about asking in this blog. I do currently have a bicycle but would be interested in an e-bike. I have heard that the parts for these bikes takes anywhere from 3-6 months to get in. Any thoughts on this? Do you know of someone that has an e-bike? Have a day!

Hey ava, we have an e-bike forum here if you want to learn more about e-bikes. They are definitely a hot item at the moment!
