    Intro from NJ

After an end to many years of skateboarding and a few of whitewater creekboating, I've decided to pursue biking more seriously than just wandering around town. I recently purchased a fixed gear and some clipless pedals to make it interesting. So far I've only crashed while navigating some tight corners in my apartment. On a literary note - I enjoyed reading Tim Krabbe's "The Rider" on my honeymoon this summer, and it's inspired an interest in competitive cycling that I never knew I had.

I've read forum archives often while doing bike-related research and I'm glad to have finally signed up,
    Eric

PS: Thanks to those that already answered the question in my first post!

I really, really need to see photos of this !

I can't even imagine trying to ride my bikes around the house, although I do ride up the ramp to the dock at my workplace .

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
