New from MA

Hi All...just started mountain biking about 4 months ago and I am now hooked and can't get enough of it. I had not ridden a bike in about 25 years and started again to get into shape and get myself out of the house. Well it most certainly has worked. I try to get out riding at least two times a week and wish it were more.

Hope to see ya around the forums.

Jim

Hello Jim, it's good to hear that you are enjoying the mountain biking so much! Next you will be exploring the joys of bicycle commuting, road cycling, cross country....you really could be out of the house riding every day .

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Wish I could be out of the house riding everyday but find it hard right now getting two days a week to ride. I have 5 year old son who keeps my wife and I very busy with all his activities.

Being a responsible parent demands a lot of time--but eventually you will be able to fit cycling in with all his activities.

I wouldn't give up being a parent for anything. He does enjoy riding his bike and I am currently teaching him how to ride without his training wheels. I told him once he can do that I would buy him a new bike and he could ride the trails with me.
