New to forums

Hello all,

I am new to this forum. I have been cycle-touring for over 25 years off and on. Until recently, mostly off. In the mid 1980's I did most of my touring. After several years of non-riding, I am attempting to get back into it.

For the past few weeks, I have trying to see how long I can survive without my car. Partly, because it is the green thing to do, mostly because I can't afford gas....

Hope to hear from you soon.

Welcome to the forums. This is THE place for online information about cycling. Don't let some of these pro's intimidate you. Have fun, ride safe, and enjoy the road.

Hello Quemal, it takes time and practice to get used to going without a car. I do a good job of being 'car-lite', but I can't quite convince my husband to give up his vehicle!

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
