Hello from Salamanca, Spain

Hola mis amigos. I am a cycling fan with limited cycling experience. :-) That is that I mostly ride around the city with a few excursions of about 20 miles or so. I enjoy the freedom and speed of the bicycle. Its faster than walking, yet gets you out in the fresh air more so than a car.

Well, I have posted a question in the General Forum area, but I will copy the text here too:
I am trying to decide which bike to get. I mostly do riding around the city, but enjoy the ability to go from sidewalk (I know I am not supposed to ride there) and the street without worrying about my wheels loosing alignment.

I have been going on rides of around 20 miles or so, but could see myself increasing that every now and again.

Even though I am in Spain, I have decided that with the Euro exchange and the lack of tall people here, I will get my best deal when I return back to the States in late October.

I am trying to pick between the following:

Giant FCR 2 https://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-us/...ad/2268/32200/
Felt Speed 22 or 33 https://www.feltracing.com/08/thumb.asp?catid=1504,1514
Jamis Coda Comp, Elite, or Allegro 3 https://www.jamisbikes.com/usa/bikes/...codaelite.html
Trek 7.5 FX https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/bike_path/fx/75fx/

At this point, I think I am leaning towards either the Felt 22 or FCR 2, but have read and heard that the Jamis chrome-moly rides are a dream.

Any thoughts or previous experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
All the best to you!

Hello David, those bikes are all too modern for me, but I do know that I love cro-moly steel, so I would be leaning to the Jamis...

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
