    Hello!

Hello everyone. I just stumbled upon this site today. I used to ride my bike all the time when I was young, but as I got older I stopped riding. Recently I brought my BMX bike down to college and have been commuting to school from the apartments, which are 3 miles away from each other. I have been riding for about three weeks now, everyday and am enjoying it. I am losing the weight I gained from being here at college. Anywho, I am glad I found this community dedicated to bicycles and cyclists. I hope that I can contribute something to the forums, but I am not very experienced with bicycles yet.

Hey welcome to the forum! College is a good way to rediscover the bike. You're probably on a limited budget and it's sure cheaper than other means of transport, plus like you stated, you get the benefits of weight loss and improved fitness. Don't worry about bike inexperience. Cruise around the forums here, post when you see an interesting subject and find your niche!!

Hi rickrollz, you are tough if you are able to handle riding your BMX bike for commuting! But if it works for you, then thumbs up on that!
