Newbie from minnesota

Hello there. My name is Karen and I am new to this board. I found this board doing a search for bicycle forums. This one looked like a good one. I started biking again after many years back in April of 2008 after me and my husband bought Specialized Mountain Bikes. I started biking the 5 miles to work in May of 2008. I love it. I bike about everyday and my legs are getting stronger and I feel great doing it. I quit smoking 3 years ago and that has helped immensely with my biking and stamina. Just wanted to join a board and have some place to discuss biking.

Hi Karen, you have come to the right place as far as I am concerned . Is the mileage for your commute one way or RT?

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Hi. Sorry I have not been back sooner. The 5 miles is one way and some of it is lakewalk and very beautiful in the mornings.
