Hello From North County San Diego

Hello all. I am pretty new to bicycling but sold my car a couple months ago and am now car-free. I ride 14 miles each way to/from work 5 days a week. On the weekends I ride on the trails at a local park. I first got into bicycling through "mountain biking" at the local trails but soon discovered the fun of road cycling as well. I have lost 70 lbs since I started cycling more seriously. Here are my rides at the moment. They are both single speeds, I know, very trendy, but I have always been fond of simple, bare-bones machines. When I was into cars I loved stripped-down sports cars, so I instantly fell in love with single speeds once I got more serious about cycling. Sold my multi-speed bikes. I know my bikes are nothing special, but they are inexpensive, functional, and fun as heck.

Hi Uhl, don't worry about the cost, some of my bikes were either free or very cheap, but I love to ride all of them .

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
