Thank you for your response.
I am dying to get to the canton area this spring.
My family and i want to ride the famington river trail that runs through there.
We did the farmington river canal through farmington to simsbury but this time were going to start a stratton brook and follow the river trail through.
I love the rail trails for the family but when its just me and my daughter we do MTB.
Right now i have a rhino by dynacraft. its a cheapie but a great beater!
who knows what next year will buy (er i mean bring).
talk to you again soon.
Its always great to find someone else who loves the ride.
what kind of riding and bike do you have and do?

Hey Vince,

I'm from Middletown. Welcome aboard

It seems that Spring has finally arrived. I might head out after work for a quick run around the block. I'm primarily a roadie but have deep roots in MTB. Have fun.

Vince - I am a roadie and a commuter (Avon/Canton to Hartford) about 9 months out of the year. I commute on a touring bike in the good weather and MTB (slicks) in foul weather. This week I have already commuted twice. This Friday it is supposed to be 60 degrees so I am going to bring out the touring bike. I also do rails/trails with my 3 kids.
