hello from northern VA

Hello -- i'm a triathlete interested in getting involved in time trials - possibly bike racing -- love to do long distances -- am planning on a week long 400+ mile ride next season! I'll ride my litespeed for time trials and trek madonne for road biking.

I'm a former road racer, TT's were my best event but there's nothing more fun than a good road race or mentally challenging than a fast crit.

Hi Denise,

Racing is much more riskier than tri's and TT's. I used to race but switched to tri's now just because I don't bounch back as quickly from crashes as I got older.

But there are lots of races, TT's and tri events around here.

Welcome.

Thanks for the responses -- I think my first step will be the TT. I'll be honest - am a little nervous about racing -- only from a "crash" standpoint! But- am syked to try something new.
