Newbie from NYC
Hello from NYC.
I've been lurking for about a week and have enjoyed reading the forums. I live in Manhattan and am completely new to cycling (aside from riding as a kid). I bought a 10-year old Litespeed Classic last week (a chance opportunity), which is a perfect fit and sweet ride. Yesterday, I got bike shoes, socks, and a helmet and I have spent all weekend riding the bike and reading these boards. I'm excited to get into the sport. My goal is to complete a sprint triathlon next spring.
