60 year old male who has been riding since about 1978. Did my first century in 1979 and have tried to do at least one every year since. Ride slowly, a 14-15 MPH average for a century is making great time. League of American Bicyclists Life Member and Instructor (#546). Retired and hope to step it up a little and perhaps ride one or more double centuries in 2009, we'll see. Caring for older parents so have to remain flexible.
Would gladly receive tips, tricks, hints, information from others my age who have done successful double centuries.
Can advise folks on bicycle safety, have taught over 60 classes on basic and intermediate cycling.
