Hello from the UK

Hi there. I am Tony from West Yorkshire in the UK. I have ridden bikes since 12 years old and am now 42 years young!

I mainly ride mainly on my 30 mile round trip commute, weekend 2 hour rides and occasional cyclo-cross races. The commute is on mixed roads mainly unlit! Winter can challenge as its cold (0°C - 4°C average) and it's always wet in the UK!!! Although i did manage to fall in the canal last week after over 30 years of not managing to!!!

I have found as i get older i need to ride my bike more often to maintain the correct life balance. Nothing beats the feeling of a hard ride on the bike.

I have 3 bikes; Kinesis cyclo-cross bike-brilliant ride and very versatile, Winter single speed- Raleigh 531 - 20 years old-brilliant solid machine, Full suspension mountain bike - 40 th birthday present and very under-used at the moment.

The forum looks brilliant and i hope to join in many of the threads going on.

Be happy

Thanks for the warm welcome. The mountain bike is only underutilesed due to time issues... I have done some excellent mountain bike routes near home, some only 10 mins ride away....
