Hello from Niagara Falls, Ontario
Hi Guys
Just joined up to get some technical info on replacing V-Brake/derailleur shifters - all that good stuff on cables, adjustment procedures, and so on. Pain!
Anyway, my biggest interest is in cycling is touring - with the Niagara Freewheelers Touring Club - Google us for the web site and do a search on Youtube for some videos I took of a few of our rides.
Been to Cuba with a small group of cyclers - had a blast. Every Canadian cyclist shouldn't miss an opportunity to experience before the trade embargo ends post-Bush and everything, particularly the traffic, changes.
Kind regards all,
Mark

Hey Mark; Rich here for the other side of the border.
I'm with BWBC (and next year with NFBC as well)and a former long distance tourer.
I'll bookmark your club and let the members know.
We occassionally do rides (thrusday mornings, weekends) up into your neck of the woods.
Hope to meet up with you next season (or this one if the weather holds!)

Hi Mark! Do you ever run across any BF members there? There should be a few. What bike/s are you riding?

Niagara Freewheeler's scheduled rides officially end for the season this Friday - some "Winter Fanatics" email each other and meet for rides informally. But keep an eye on our web site for next April's ride schedule. We're blessed with a great combination of deserted paved back roads on level terrain to a network of trails and bike lanes that circle the Niagara Region. For a number of good reasons, some just by happenstance, Niagara is one of the best places to cycle in Canada. As for the club, there are some talented executive members (Tom Bailey chief among them) that have mapped out touring routes that are truly outstanding.
Some come join us - guests always welcome at any and all rides!

I've got a Devinci Comfort Hybrid and an Oryx Racing (labelled) road bike - both Canadian. I think Devinci bought up Oryx along with some other small manufacturers. Both Shimano drivetrains of course.
