Word. San Francisco NooB.

Hey, so I signed up today so I could research bikes, and there's so much more great info than I expected. I am a tiny bit better than novice and last month did my first century (unfortunately) on the Specialized Sirrus I bought in January. So yeah, scraping up enough cash to buy a real road bike.

Truthfully, I'm looking for some folks to ride with. My friend that got me into cycling has gone MIA, and I'm having a hard time staying focused with people to plan rides with.

I'm 28, I live in the Sunset in San Francisco and I like doing 15-20 miles rides during the week and would like to do 40-60 maybe every other weekend (time permitting). I can keep a decent 15 mph pace, but like I said, I'm still working my way up.

Let me know if you're interested!

Check the Regional Discussions -> Northern California group. That's where all the SF/Bay area people
hang out.
