hello from the niagara region

Hello everyone, I figured I'd join this group so I could see all the pics and maybe ask some questions. I've always owned one bicycle at a time since about 1973 (12 years old). The first one was THE GREEN MONSTER, a bike too big for me that I painted green, changed the seat and handle bars ( man I hated those cottered cranks), single speed. The next was a brand new 10 speed medalist from canadian tire. After that was stolen I bought a new 12 speed excalibur from the same store and managed to keep it for over 10 years until I got the bug again and bought a hybrid (was getting tired of the skinny tires). Still have the hybrid, though the bug came back when my freind gave me his raleigh condor I was storing for him. Took me a long time to identify the bike online (the component group is the shimano golden arrow 1983) Since then I've bought 2 bikes from a newspaper ad,2 bikes from the police auction, and 2 bikes from garage sales. "It really is more fun, when you own more than one".

Welcome to BF Qurry.
You might need a larger garage if you keep going.

I'll try to get some pics posted soon. As for a bigger garage, I live in an apartment, but it has a big balcony where I enjoy the sunsets with my bikes over a cold one.

Just borrowed my nephew's camera and took some pics of one of the bikes I bought this summer.100_4857.jpg. It's a 1987 Bianchi Campione D'Italia. Got it at a garage sale for $30.

Now with a small description, It is a celeste green bianchi. I did not like the colour at first, but now I couldn't even think of changing it.

This bike is a Raleigh big horn from 1991. I swapped out the bio-pace chainrings, handlebar, and wheels.https://s421.photobucket.com/albums/p...t=100_4846.jpg
