Hola from South Texas!
Hi there. New to the forum, old to cycles, and getting back closer to avid status.
Road ride - 1974 Raleigh Record, purchased new in 1974, with Dura-Ace (Crane) derailleurs, Viscount wheels (27"), Shimano 105 levers and cranks (Biopace no less), and Forte Rail clipless pedals. Also has a Skip Hujsak paint job circa 1980! Yeah, so I spent a lot of money on a cheap bike... I still like it.
Trail ride - Fuji Suncrest (early '90s?) purchased for $.01 on the dollar at church garage sale ($60) in perfect condition. Have replaced the Rapid-Fire shifters with NOS units from UK.
Wife's ride - Miyata City Runner
Really interested in the "old bikes" threads!
Cheers!
Jeff

Welcome to BF.
Old bikes are Pretty, but you need to get a pic up so we all can enjoy it.
Thanks

You Know!? For Kids!
Howdy and Welcome. Dad grew up in Corpus. Spent a bunch of time down that way as a kid. Got to get my kids down there this summer. Dallas has no beaches.
