New Bianchi Owner

Hello everyone, just bought a mid 80's bianchi with campy groupo. Trying to get into cycling up here at Virginia Tech as well as in Chapel Hill NC. Can anyone offer any advice on how to touch up the celeste paint on an old bianchi? Much obliged. Looked around at bike forums for a while, this one seems like one of the best!

Thanks for the advice. I have been told that Bianchi changes the chemistry and hue of the color celeste pretty often (every couple of years). Do you know if this is true or if not, would it still be a pretty close match? Also, would you suggest just the touch up vial, or the spray that comes with the clear coat? Primer? Thanks.

Actually, Daddy, my Bianchi isn't even really celeste. It's Yellow.

I was under the impression that Celeste is Celeste and that they didn't change it too often. I'd only get the spray if I planned on painting the whole frame.

Greetings from Winston Salem. I just moved up from an 80's Bianchi to a new one since I liked it so much. There is a big difference in the paint, my new has sort of a gold tint when its out in the sun.

My roomate who is on the VT cycling team just bought a EV3 Al/Carbon that was last years model. I'm so jealous. But, since the colors will be different, what do you suggest, i've hear mixing and matching nail polish works really well. Or should i just use the bianchi paint and if i really love biking get it repainted in a couple of years when i actually have money to speak of.
