I loved Austria. Say, do you have a recipe for Salzburgerknocklern? I may have spelled it wrong, it's been a while.
Although I am not Austrian, but Swedish/German I know one:
4 egg whites with
80 g sugar and
1 pinch of salt
so that it becomes whipped egg whites.
4 egg yolks,
30 g butter,
2 tablespoons flour and one small pack of vanilla sugar
fold in the whipped egg whites to the egg yolks.
form the "nockerln" from this dough, place it on an ovenproof dish and put it in the oven. 10 to 15 minutes with 200°c.
