New Designer From Tucson, AZ

I am Getting back into cycling after a 10 year abscence. I have also just moved to Tucson working for a machine shop as a research and design engineer. Would like to hear anyones comments on what they would like to see developed for the sport. Anyone know of a good cycling club here? I am sure there are many.

Be sure to do the neat ride on Saguaro National Park East. A very nice 10 mile loop. You can also ride to the Nat Park, to add more miles. Go early in the am before everyone else gets there. You will love the peace and quiet, the desert lora and fauna.

yeah - i used to live there myself. you can ride old spanish trail for a while all the way out to the park and quite a ways beyond. i can't remember the route (maybe it is old spanish trail as well), but it's possible to ride all the way out to collosal cave. it's a great piece of earth! i miss living in AZ. new york weather is horrible for biking most of the time...

There are several good cycling clubs with all levels of riding, along with several bike rides leaving from many LBS.
Old Spanish Trail is popular. Oracle Rd up as far as you like, nice bike lane. Rancho Vistoso. Mt. Lemmon.
