Hello from Maricopa AZ

Hello everyone, I just recently sold my Mountain Bike after it had been sitting in the garage for several years collecting dust. I used to be a avid Mountain Biker, but became lazy and got fat. Last year at this time, I decided to loose weight using a treadmill and went from 289 lbs to around 188 lbs where I am at now. I have grown tired of the treadmill, so went out looking for a road bike. Not wanting to spend more than $1000, I had almost decided on a Specialized Allez compact, when searching through Craigslist, I found a 2004 Fuji Team Super Light in excellent condition. Full Ultegra, with American Classic Wheels, FSA carbon Crank, and SpeedPlay Zero pedals. All for $400. I had a local shop replace the seat with a Specialized Toupe 143, do a tuneup, and replace the grips. Last Saturday went out for my first ride in quite some time and went 18 miles averaging 22mph. I love this bike, just not sure on the pedals. When I had my Mountain Bike, I ran SPD's and Time Atack's and like how they engaged, I might sell the Speedplays and switch to Look Keo's. Getting ready to go on another ride today, if the streets dry up.

Welcome to BF! Whereabouts are you, Maricopa covers a good area.

It's also getting a bit nippy outside, be sure to put on the long sleeves!

My bad, I'm in the town of Maricopa. Yeah its a little cold, but after a few miles I get warm enough that I don't need long sleeves.
