Hello from the Peninsula

Been lurking for awhile and realized I should introduce myself. My name is Gary and I live on the mid-peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area. I spent most of my youth on the bike and then took a 15-year break from it. In Early October I began commuting to work 5 days a week and haven't stopped since. I now ride 7 days a week, rain or shine. It's like dope, I can't stop even if I wanted to. My girlfriend and I try to get in at least one recreational ride a week. I ride an old rigid Trek mountain bike that I bought from a friend. Used to do some light trail riding, but it's gradually been converted to a full-time commuter. I hope to pick up a newer, dedicated mountain bike sometime this coming year.

Hey Gary! You might want to check out the Nor Cal section in the Regional forums we have here. They have lots of rides and you are more than welcome to join in.
