Glad to be part of the discussion. I'm here primarily to gather information for an upcoming tour that my wife and I are planning across the USA and then through France and Spain. We're both experienced self-contained tourers. We both ride Tour Easy recumbents. I'll be hanging out a lot in the forums devoted to self-contained touring and European tours.
Cycling isn't new to me, but internet forums are, so be patient while I get my bearings.
