Hi, from Salt Lake and yeah, it is cold right now

I just started biking in the spring of 2008 to get me from work and back and I fell in love with it. A bunch of my friends had bikes but I was content on just using the bus until they raised bus fair. I thought, forgert this crap I'm getting a bike, and I got to work just as fast if not faster and it was fun as hell. Then I realized I needed a bag and I didn't like the bags I was seeing around town so I decided to make my own bag and it turned out awesome. I was like, why not sell these, so I have been and I love it. I've only sold a few to date but it makes me feel good designing and making a bag for someone that totally thinks it's brilliant. So What I'm trying to say is that my bike has changed my life in such a good way.

P.S.- Check out my blog about my bags and let me know what you think or don't.

Either way I'm really here to connect with people who love bikes as much as I do and learn a thing or two.

Welcome to Bike Forums. As they say, necessity is the Mother of invention. You've definitely taken this to heart. Checked out the bags. They have good aesthetics and look quite functional. Hopefully they take off for you. Good luck!

Hi lamarsen, nice bags! So, what bike are you riding? I had occasion to use the King County Metro system for several days during our big snow here, and I discovered that riding my bike is indeed much faster than taking the bus!

And a lot more fun .

Welcome to BikeForums, and don't hesitate to send me a PM if you have any questions.

Oh, nice choice! Good solid bike, and great for both commuting and (eventually) touring .
